Always an enthusiastic competitor, ??? was mainly deployed by Gerry Francis to play behind Teddy Sheringham and Chris Armstrong. Sunderland v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Saturday 18th September 1993 - Division 1
The most prolific goalscorer in the English game, and Wolves record league goalscorer. And at 28 the fearsome striker is determined to reach out for new challenges. By his own standards last season's return of 16 league goals was below par. His sights are higher this time around, with 25 his target. And ??? also aims to earn a recall to the England side. His last international appearance came against Poland in a European Qualifier three years ago.
