Claudio Ranieri. The very popular winner of the award in 2015/16 after leading 5000-1 outsiders Leicester City to the title.

The Premier League Manager of the Season award started life in 1993/94 - the second season season of the Premier League - and is awarded by the sponsors of the League to the most outstanding manager in the Premier League during that season.

It has usually been won by the manager of the champions which means that the usual winner was Alex Ferguson of Manchester United. Fergie won 11 of the first 20 awards. Only four managers have won it without winning the title - George Burley of Ipswich, Harry Redknapp of Spurs, Alan Pardew of Newcastle and Tony Pulis of Crystal Palace.
