LONDON    1955-58
      Fairs Cup

The London v Frankfurt fixture was the first match at Wembley to be played under floodlights. It was another 8 years - on 20th November 1963 when England beat Northern Ireland 8-3 - before England played  a whole 90 minutes at a floodlit Wembley.
