Loughborough's 8 points for the season still stands as the lowest points total in the Football League, although the unwanted record is also shared with Doncaster Rovers whose 8 points, also in Division 2, was achieved in 1904/05. The other record Loughborough set that season - of fewest League wins (just 1) - lasted a bit longer until Derby County equalled it in 2007/08.
