Left League Wigan Borough resigned from the League on October 26th 1931 due to financial problems. They had played 12 matches but their playing record was declared void. For details of the matches Wigan Borough played in 1931/32, click on Season Results. 

R At the end of the season Mansfield Town were transferred from the Southern to the Northern section to make up the numbers in the North following Wigan's demise. Only one club was required to seek re-election at the AGM. Voting -
