were a Christmas gift for Tranmere and Oldham fans in 1935. On Christmas
Day Oldham defeated Tranmere 4-1 and a day later in the Boxing Day
return at Prenton Park Tranmere defeated Oldham by 13-4. It was both
Tranmere's record League score and the highest aggregate score in League
history. Bunny Bell scored 9 of Tranmere's goals that day.
