On Boxing Day 1963 66 goals were scored in the First Division - a record for a single day in the top flight (results).

What a difference a day makes...well two anyway! On that Boxing Day Burnley beat Manchester United 6-1 at Turf Moor. 48 hours later in the return Division 1 fixture at Old Trafford Burnley were beaten by a 5-1 scoreline...
