Pipped to the title on goal difference in 1991/92 Wycombe Wanderers dominated proceedings in 19992/93 taking the title by a 15 point margin, scoring the most goals and conceding the fewest and had by far the best average Conference attendance - 4602.

Not the best of seasons for Conference sides in the FA Cup but Yeovil reached the Third Round were for the second time in their history they entertained Arsenal. The Londoners won 3-1 and went on to win the competition.

    Promoted Wycombe Wanderers were promoted to the Football League replacing Halifax Town who were relegated to the Conference.

Relegated Farnborough Town were relegated to the Beazer Homes Southern League and Boston United were relegated to the HFS Northern Premier League. Taking their place in the Conference  were Southern League champions Dover Athletic and northern Premier League champions Southport.
