      Champions Stevenage Borough were not promoted to the Football League as it was deemed that their ground was not up to Football League standards. As a result Torquay United were saved from relegation from the Football League to the Conference.

Relegated Runcorn were relegated to the Unibond Northern Premier League and Dagenham & Redbridge to the ICIS Isthmian League.
