The
First World War prevented Stoke taking up their League place in
1915/16 but although there was a League re-organisation before
League football resumed Stoke retained their place. Prior to the
start of the next Football League season - 1919/20 - that re-organsiation
saw four new places being created in the Football League with
Coventry included in the vote for membership. Voting - |
