Dagenham & Redbridge were the Conference side who got furthest in the FA Cup, losing 1-4 at home to Ipswich in the 3rd Round. The most remarkable Conference FA Cup result though was the First Round replay between Forest Green Rovers and Macclesfield Town. The match ended 1-1 - but Macclesfield won 11-10 on penalties.

Promoted Champions Boston United were promoted to the Football League (but not without protest - points deductions), Halifax Town were relegated from the Football League to the Conference.

Relegated Hayes were relegated to the Ryman Isthmian League, Stalybridge to the Unibond Northern Premier League and Dover to the Dr Martens Southern League.
