One of Arthur Chandler's 33 goals came in Leicester's  7-0 victory against Port Vale at Filbert Street on Christmas Day 1924 but his team-mate John Duncan got the headlines that day. He scored the other six goals, a club record he still shares with Chandler
(Christmas Day football).



Goalkeeper Harry Hardy became the only person to make a full international appearance for England while a Stockport County player. His one England cap came in the 4-0 win over Belgium played at the Hawthorns in December 1924.
