Leading
League goalscorer: Jimmy Cookson (West Bromwich Albion) 38 goals Fulham equalled an unenviable record by losing 20 away League matches during the season (a record they lost to Nelson in 1930/31). Fulham lost their first 19 away League matches of the season (and an away FA Cup tie) after having also lost the last two of the 1926/27 season. They did better at home though - a week after losing 4-8 at Barnsley they beat Wolves 7-0 at Craven Cottage. |
