Leading League goalscorer: Ian Wright (Arsenal 24 goals, Crystal Palace 5 goals) 29 goals Despite winning their third League title Leeds United didn't get the better of great rivals Manchester United in the four matches they played against them during the season. Amazingly three of those matches against United were at Elland Road in successive home games - Leeds drew in the League but lost FA Cup and Rumbelows League Cup ties.
