Rochdale fans celebrated their club's 8-2 FA Cup success against Crook Town on Saturday November 26th 1927 but amazingly it wasn't until after the Second World War, on Saturday November 17th 1945, when they next gained an FA Cup victory. In total they went 11 seasons in a row without getting past the First Round stage.
