Leading League goalscorer: Everton found an amazing run of form at home and in consecutive home League matches scored 9, 8, 7, 9, 5 and 5 which helped them towards 116 League goals in the season and their fourth League title (results). On Saturday January 2nd 1932 a
new record was set when 209 goals were scored in the 43 Football League
matches played that day (the record was equalled in 1935/36). |
