On May 18th 1985 Kevin Moran of Manchester United became the first player to be sent off in an FA Cup Final. Ref Peter Willis sent him off during extra time for a foul on Everton's Peter Reid. United won 1-0.

Norwich City beat Sunderland in the Milk Cup (League Cup) final at Wembley - both clubs suffered relegation at the end of the season.

On Saturday September 22nd visiting Newcastle were 4-0 up at QPR at half-time - it was 5-5 at the final whistle!
