Fernando Torres moved from Liverpool to Chelsea for £50m, Andy Carroll from Newcastle to Liverpool for £35m, David Luiz from Benfica to Chelsea for £25m and Luis Suarez from Ajax to Liverpool for £23m. It took Torres 14 matches (732 minutes on the pitch) before he scored his first goal for Chelsea.
