On Wednesday November 25th 1992 Peterborough United beat Kingstonian 9-1 in an FA Cup 1st Round replay, Tony Philliskirk scoring five. Both were scoring records for the Posh but neither stood as the match result was declared void. Kingstonian 'keeper Adrian Blake was hit by a coin thrown from the crowd and had to be substituted in the 55th minute when the score was 3-0. Peterborough won the re-staged match, played behind closed doors, by a more modest 1-0.
